You NEED to see this romantic Mono, Ontario Summer wedding!

Where do I even begin?! I remember the day I got Shemaiah's inquiry in my email. I read it over several times, convinced that we were going to have an absolutely great time together! I immediately told my second shooter and best friend, and we both got so excited about this romantic fall wedding. I remember her telling me "this wedding will be a BLAST!"

Shemaiah and I clicked right away, and honestly we connected more when we met for her and Ken's engagement session at the golf course that was originally meant to be their wedding venue. Driving around the course and chatting, I got to know more about Shemaiah and Ken and how they met, and it was crazy because they were friends before anything started, attending Bible studies and workshops together with youth. Then when they started leading worship, they connected as a couple and well the rest is history!

My second wasn't wrong though ... their wedding was a CELEBRATION!

Yes, we got stuck indoors and our schedules changed because of heavy downpour rain, but that didn't stop us from bringing out the umbrellas and catching the ice cream truck for a good old fashioned ice cream cone. It was seriously joyful, fun and an overall happy day. And let's not even talk about the reception, because Ken and the bridal party surprised Shemaiah with a dance!

The entire day was full of emotion. So many tears and smiles, and I felt so honoured to be part of such a beautiful love story. The amount of support this couple has is honestly out of this world. Even though they were missing some key people from their lives, and having to move things around because of COVID, there was nothing but love for the couple and excitement for the journey ahead.

And to top of it all, the wedding venue was stunning.

Mono, Ontario in the fall will always be my favourite time, and Shemaiah and Ken's vision was a dream come true. Having their wedding ceremony in the place where they met and got to grow together is something that will continue to put tears in my eyes!

It was seriously a day I will never forget, and I'm so thankful that this couple came into my life.
