You're never too old to run around in the park with the love of your life and an ice cream cone

It's crazy to think how years later, you can reconnect with someone who at one point in your life was your best friend.

Rola and I have known each other since we were 10, and the last time we saw each other, we were 14 years old. That was almost 11 years ago.

And to think that Instagram brought us back into each others' lives is absolutely crazy. The power of social media ... am I right?

Anyways, flash forward past the awkward "ugly" middle school phase and university graduation, Rola and I met up at a park to take photos of her and her boyfriend, and it was - in my opinion - it was the best way to meet him and reconnect after so many years apart.

It was an instant connection, no one would have realized that we haven't actually spoken in person in 11 years!

Rola and Mo had the most spontaneous and adventurous session you could think of, from the parking lot to the beach being blocked off because they parking lot was full, to running to an ice cream truck because well, it was a hot day and ice cream is a fan favourite.

It was the best way to see my old friend and make a new one.
